Method |
Sets the method by which the node is placed.
-
Precision Placement — Places a node by a precision placement method available.
-
Place on Boundary — Places a node on an identified boundary at a specified distance from the boundary's end point.
-
Direction and Distance — Places a node at a predefined direction and distance from a data point.
-
DeltaXY — Places a node at a predefined delta X and delta Y from a data point placed on an element.
-
Boundary Divisor — Places equally spaced nodes on an identified boundary to divide it into a predefined number of segments.
-
Project to Boundary — Projects a node placement on a boundary at 90 degrees from the identified point of projection. If the point of projection is a node, you can copy and increment the identified node or move the node to the point of projection.
-
Place on Vertices — Places nodes on a selected boundary's vertices.
|
Label |
Sets the number assigned to the first node placed.
|
Options |
Depending on the placement method chosen, additional options display.
-
Copy — Copies the properties of a selected node and places the copy per the defined placement method.
-
Array — Places nodes per the defined placement method with incremental IDs from the Label specified.
-
Quantity — Sets the number of nodes to place.
-
Direction — Sets the angle from which nodes are placed.
-
Reference — Positions the node in reference to a linear feature.
-
Inverse — Positions the node inversely from a linear feature.
-
Distance — Sets the distance between placed nodes or a node and its reference.
-
DeltaX — Sets the X coordinate of the placed node.
-
DeltaY — Sets the Y coordinate of the placed node.
-
Divisor — Sets the number of segments in which to divide a boundary.
